About Walker Clark
I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old. I also played basketball and football but have always aspired to play baseball at the collegiate level. Playing in college would be an honorable and prestigious opportunity. I hope to not only be a great baseball player and student but also a recognizable ambassador of the school.
As a versatile two-way player known for elite level athleticism, impact on the mound, and consistency at the plate I bring both power and agility to the game. Standing at 6'2” and weighing 195 lbs. I am a LHH that primarily pitches and plays 1B/3B/OF. I attend South Forsyth High School where I play varsity baseball for the region 6-6A War Eagles. I received “Honorable Mention All-Region RHP” and “Most Improved Player” honors for my sophomore year campaign, and the "War Eagle Award", "Second Team All-Region", "All-County", and "All-Region Academic Award" for this year's efforts.
In the high school off-season, I play travel baseball for USA Scout National Team Nike U.S. I have played for this organization for the past several years and have received several All-Tournament team awards. I have also attended several invites-only showcases establishing myself as a high potential college recruit. I play baseball because I enjoy the competition and camaraderie with my teammates. I’m a tireless hard worker, selfless leader, supportive teammate, and diligent student of the game.
I study hard and maintain a 4.1 GPA in the classroom. I was honored as a Scholar Athlete this year and in 2023. Being a student-athlete has allowed me to learn the discipline necessary to prepare me for college and eventually a career. In my free time I enjoy fishing, working out, playing video games, and hanging out with my friends.
I am looking for a college where I can challenge myself in the classroom and on the baseball field. I am open to all levels and ultimately hope to find the right fit at the highest level of competition possible. I desire to become a great role model who honors God and makes my family proud.
